Hi , can u please tell me what is better anesthesia or epidural while having c -section … i have heard epidural is very painful procedure so i decided to take anesthesia… is my decision is good or not? I have phobia of operation theatre also .

besides epidural you can have spinal anaesthesia it has less side effects.....
there are few precautions and specific post op care for spinal ..that I am sure the respective anaesthetist will follow you just have to cooperate. spinal anaesthesia is good for the baby .. general anaesthesia is now usually not preferred for C-Section as it can affect the fetus( baby)
