walikum asalam !! fever or khansi dono ye Covid k symptoms ho saktay hain lazmi nhi keh ye usi wajah se ho lekin apnay aap ko , ghar walon ko or dusron ko mehfooz rakhnay k lye corona ka PCR test krwa len to bht acha hoga ..us k ilawa aik Pulse oximetre lazmi khareed len takay apni Oxygen saturation check kartay rahen agr wo 95% se nichay gir rhy ho to lazmi hospital jayen .
Viral fever is a symptom in itself. Can we look at fever only and tell if it is bacterial or viral ? The answer is No. Being said that, fever of bacterial origin is usually higher than viral. Fever of bacterial origin can last longer than viral, which usually resolves in 10-14 days. Once fever is there , next step is to figure out from where it is originating. If originating from lungs, there may be associated symptoms of cough, shortness of breath. If originating from upper respiratory system , there may be runny nose, sore throat etc. In case of stomach and intestines as origin , there could be diarrhea and abdominal pain. So fever is to be seen in the context of additional symptoms. Narrowing down to your question, these days Covid -19 is common in which there could be fever, fatigue, sore throat , cough , shortness of breath...either all or some of these symptoms.

Your symptoms, in light of decreased taste, smell and fatigue , are inclined towards Covid-19. As Dr Anees recommended , get a pulse oximeter and keep an eye on O2 sat.

Good that you tested. Wo Sab log jo positive aye hain, better stay in isolation for 14 days ,which means avoid going out to infect others. If maid continued to work even with mask on, she can get infected as well. She can, however, provide you door service for bringing goods to your home. Keep an eye on oxygen sat by pulse oximeter.
