my concern is this high fasting blood sugar and need to be visited by a specialist physician asap and glucerna contains sugar alcohol rather than sugar and can be considered sugar free but it should not be used as a meal as regularly use of glucerna cause electrolytes imbalance and mostly we use it in ICU admitted diabetic patients

best advice is visiting a dietitian or nutritionist ask advice from him but normally milk (nesvita) is main part of diabetic diet

first of all the fasting blood sugar levels are really high. which medicine the patient has been using? since how long she is diabetic? glucerna shouldn't be taken when the patient has uncontrolled blood sugar levels. kindly consult online for proper assessment.
