hello,my mother is a patient of high bp,and she is taking medicines according to her doctor, she is very careful in choosing what kind of food to have and and what to avoid, my question is ,is it ok for her to take makhan(butter) and desi ghee ,Lasi in her breakfast??? we belong to a village area that's why am asking??

Generally we discourage the use of these due to high calorie and high saturated fat intake. What I believe is we should discourage sugar intake more than fat and all kind of Sugary item and drinks should be avoided. All kind of physical activities should be promoted.
