my mother takes eazyday 50mg qd and BP is controlled but currently is 170/100 checked twice on manual apparatus without any symptoms should I take her to ER? also diabetic no other comborbs
Does not appear to be Emergency. Manage Fasting schedule with the routine medication for three days more then call if any issue.

hello dear, thank you for sharing your concerns. if you have checked it twice manually and BP is still high then probably her BP medications need to be ramped up a little bit. no need to worry or panic. she does not need immediate ER consultation. you can get tab. co-eziday 50/12.5, which adds another drug to her current medication. she should wait 2 - 4 weeks to take effect of this new medication, if still bp high then consult her cardiologist. i hope that helps.

Better to stop eziday and start Tab. Avsar 5/80 mg morning n evening.
get these tests to find the reason for recent rise in BP.

Well I suggest monitor her bp regularly for next week. But right now this bp needs to be brought down. The diastolic pressure is very high which is more of concern than systolic(upper). You must relax her make her lie down and checlnjer on again after 15mins if still higher than 150/90 then I suggest you need to give Tab Lasix 40mg now the repeat after 8 hours. Keep her hydrated. If not this then please tale her to ER. She is postmenopausal, diabetic ,hypertensive God forbid be watchful for stroke. May God give her speedy recovery
