Asking for Self, Male, 55 years old, Mirpur AJK
My BP currently stays between 180/106 to 170/100 some time it reduces. IO have been taking Tenormin 50 mg since 2011 to date. before my bp was normal . Now it is not under control. My doctor have given combination of medicine Natrilix SR and Diovan 80 . But whenever I use these ones my BP rises very high. Later a professor doctor have changed my medicine and advised EXTOR 10/160when he personally examined my bp and found 220/140. This tab dose not work as well. I don't have any idea what the real problem is. I am at Mirpur AJK , about 2-3 hours drive distance to Islamabad. Kindly advise if there is any other reasoning avoiding of heart disease . I can come to Islamabad today for my detailed checkup .
If your BP is not controlled despite taking these medications regularly your dose must be adjusted and you have to be investigated for cause of this rise in BP. You must consult a physician as soon as possible.
Do lab for blood urea,serum creatinine, lipid profile fasting, and ultrasound for kidneys bladder and pristate

Dear. U should continue ur medicine ascard 75 mg with tab zestoritic 20. And u need to consult cardiologist near by. Or if u can go to islamabad that will be very fine. Try tablet zestoritic 20 mg and check ur bp accordingly.
you need investigation esp for kidney

You need thorough checkup with endocrinologist. I am karachi doctor. Dont know anyone in islamabad.
