Talk to General Physician on Bumps On Heads

I am having a bump or lump or swelling on the backside of my left ear; on head and nape. Back ear bump is hard as bone and approx 2 inches in size. I have experienced them before on the backside of my head few times before. sometimes they were two in number. They are painful and create a disturbance when I lay down and move my neck. They grow slowly, in the beginning, they do not hurt enough but as they grow, they cause me a headache and my head feels much heavier now. My eyes are burning, head, neck, and shoulders are aching. In the past, they disappeared themselves but in many days. What are the cause of them? Why are they happening? Is this something serious or to worry about?
