general anesthesia is the only way to go
it can be made safer in asthamatic patient by taking precautionary measures
you may require a Pulmonology review fo risk stratification if they claim the risk is high then measures need to betaken likewise

No it can only be done in general anesthesia, consult your pulmonologist asthma shouldn't be a problem for surgery

Anaesthesia can be given to asthmatics as well, but u need to give proper history to the doctors performing surgery and to the anaesthesia doctor.. Laproscopic surgery is better but anaesthesia is required.
