Talk to General Physician on Can Myasthenia Gravis Be Transmitted To Children?

person-avatar

Asking for Self, Male, 24 years old, Lahore

AoA, I'm a Myathenia Gravis patient by birth and I have been taking Amygra for around 11-12 years. My childhood days were very problematic but I have improved over the years Alhamdulillah.

My issues are: 1. I have to take Amygra daily in morning to spend my day energetically/normally. Is this birth auto-immune disease curable in any way? 2. I'll be getting married in a year or so. I want to know whether this disease can be transmitted from Father to his children? If yes, then what are the possible solutions because I don't want my children to spend their life as I spent mine.

Please docs answer both queries.

JazakAllah.

it's autoimmune disease that is in your body against your immune system and surely it will not be transmitted to your kids.
