i have quit alcohol from last 34 days , but i am facing several issues like my left side of chest hurts , my ears get red and i sometimes feel i am having anxiety. i had blood in my stool couple of times also after quitting alcohol.

It’s common to have heart racing after stopping alcohol, but it’s better you get a check up done especially for ECG. Are you taking any medication after stopping alcohol bc your ears might be red due to some medicine. Blood in stool also needs to be evaluated. So please book an appointment with gastroenterologist.

Please consult nearby emergency to get ECG done to make sure there is no heart issue as you are already taking BP medicine. Moreover, you might need endoscopy or gastroenterologist check up for blood in the stools.

thank you for your response. yes heart beat is around 110 or 120 when walking and during resting it is at 90. distolic blood pressure is usually in upper 80s. no cough.
