Talk to General Physician on Circumcision Types

I have a baby boy 2 months old. im looking to circumcise the boy. I've been told there are two types of circumcision, one is the ring method in which it takes 5-6 days for the baby to recover, where as the other is "patti wala tarika" as per the guy who told me, in which case the bandage can be removed within 48 hours.

I'm just confused which method should i opt for and which is the safest technique. please explain, thanks.
