Constipation

Question

Hello all, my 12 years old son has constipation since a few days. I have been giving him warm milk with ispaghol as a home remedy and increased his water intake too. Kindly suggest which medicine he shall take and any advice for the haemorrhoid cream also as he is a bit uncomfortable. Thanks

Give him fruits and salads and Yoghurt  ... Start Syp. Purulax Junior 2 spoons once daily. The dose may be increased as per response after 24 hours. You need to visit some surgeon so that anal fissure or other pathologies may be ruled out.  Tronolane cream may be applied on anus for any issues you mentioned.

Avoide spicy and gaseous food
Give topical Lignocaine gel and apply below to decrease pain
Give High fiber diet
Syp paracetamol if pain in tds
