Aoa. My son is 21 months old. About 2 months ago he caught cold and cough. His cold went away but cough is still there. He coughs more at day and only once at night. I can hear him wheezing at night also only for short duration. He coughs at night after 2 or 3 hours of sleeping. And cough is like barking cough. He was also sneezes and rubs his nose a lot when he wakes up and coughing is must in the morning. I live in london and here GP has not prescribed anything and asked me to wait and watch for 1 more month. But I am so much worried. He said his chest and lungs are fine and it might be post viral cough. Can you please tell what it could be and what shoud I do?

U can get a Chest Xray and get consultation on it
Also rule out some allergies
Aoa. I wish your son speedy recovery. For instant recovery you can nebulise your kid qith simple hot water steam. That will definitely help him in dry and cold conditions in UK. It surely has no harm. Do reply me with your feedback if u try this.

Wslam. I didn’t try that. Dr prescribed steriod inhaler and cough has stopped.
