I did PCR for covid 19 and in result it's showing detected,I am living with my wife and 2 kids age 4 and 1.5 years,I need assistance for isolation I have to isolate myself or whole family have to isolate,still I don't have any symptoms or I don't feel any issue with me,PCR test was done with chughtai lab any recommendations for lab. you can isolate urself for 10 days since u done test if you become symptomatic than 10 days starts from that day and if any member family become symptomatic within 10 days do pcr

Acutely I have to fly from Pakistan so that's why I need a PCR test report in negative.is it possible that in PCR test shows dead cells of virus

Well for your satisfaction get an other PCR from South City/Ziauddin /IndusHospital if affording. Corona infections can has various presentations and can be without symptoms too. Isolation should last for 14 days. You can be around your family with a mask at 6 feet distance from time to time.
Keep an eye on the rest for any sypmtoms or get them tested if want to be extra cautious. I suggest you all should isolate for 14 days to avoid contact and spread to others.

Dr Shafi I would like to ask about accuracy of PCR test,is it 100% accurate.i feel like last month I was suffering from fever and body pain may be that time I was infected

20% cases can be false positive. Go by your sypmtoms. No need any special ft ice antibiotics unless and until need be. Symptomatic treatment is required. Keep a good diet keep and stress free. Multivitamins are not a treatment remember they are supportive therapy. Keep an eye on your breathing and if any problem get CBC, CRP, D Dimer,Chest Xray done.
Recovery from post COVID19 lethargy could take a month or so.

Dr acutely I have to fly from Pakistan so that's why I need a PCR test report negative for the flight,till now I am feeling well and no symptoms at all,is it possible I got infected in the past but still it's showing in my current report.

Yes PCR can be positive for weeks after infection. Speak to the airlines. I had a similar case weeks back as they had to fly with Emirates airlines.

Dear Doctor it's more than 1 week now and some of the symptoms are active now like flue and little bit headache also some times cough but still I didn't lose taste and smell ,I start taking multivitamins,surbex z,Panadol only that time when I feel headache and cough syrup,kindly advise me anything else I have to do and should I ended my Isolate after 14 days or start counting the days after these symptoms.

You shall count from the day you tested positive although you must have been infected easier. Take symptomatic treatment 500mg panadol 12 hourly, Tan Soften 12 houlry, continue cough syp at night. All for 7 days. Rest right now delay travel as travelling would increase infection load,sypmtoms and longer weakness.
