Talk to General Physician on COVID-19 Symptoms

Asking for Self, Male, 26 years old, Karachi

I had fever from the evening of 1 Mar (Monday) to 2 Mar (Tue). I took a lot of rest, fruits & ginger tea and recovered. I remained tired with body ache in the following days which is normal after fever but then it continued throughout the week and finally on Monday, I lost complete sense of smell & taste. It is rare as I had never experienced that before even in colds and this time it happens without any cold. I have dry nose but sometimes it feels blocked. Especially, when I am eating, I feel I have to stop eating and breathe and start eating again.

Since Monday, I have self-isolated myself in a room with open doors and windows (there is no one else on the floor mostly). I haven't got test as I felt it won't make any difference to my treatment (I am already eating fruits, juice, ginger/cinnamon tea and increased water intake). The issue is that I have a trip of Northern Areas planned in the coming week starting from Thursday. I am not sure if I should still get on with it.
