Your mother is diabetic and it seems she is still un controlled.Diabetes works slowly snd silently and damages many vital internal organs like brain,heart,eyes,kidneys, and limb vessels.This happens over years of uncontrolled diabetes.You must be aware of this.
Management of Diabetes includes motivation of the patient to excercise ,discipline in food intake and regularity of medicinal intake.Also a number of tests are needed to determine which medicines would be best for her.
As a first step we advice one 30 minutes to one hour walk every day.
Taking foods which have low carbs but moderate proteins anf fats.
