Asking For Father, Male 61, islamabad

My father is having pain in his left leg from last few months which is now increased and he is unable to walk properly. We consulted orthopedic surgeon and he asked for MRI. I am attending the MRI reports as well. Dr mentioned that it's disc Prolapse which can only be treated using a surgery done by neurosurgeon. I need help please. should we go for Surgery?

its curable and manageable by the help of homeopathic medicines ...no need for surgery

General Physician in Karachi - Dr. Masharib Bashar

after seeing the report. no need of surgery right now. Back surgery usually does not have good results and pain usually never goes away completely. first always go for non-surgical treatments .
- Start with Tab Zeegap 25 mg twice daily. Increase to 50 mg twice daily after 3 weeks and maintain that dose.
- Paincure Gel locally applied to lower back
- After 2 weeks, when pain resolves a bit, start physiotherapy .
- No lifting of heavy weights, bending down, twisting of back.
- Book online appointment after 2 weeks to discuss future management. JazakAllah
