For how many years your father has Diabetes?
is this numbness specific with morning or evening time?
is there coldness on lower vs upper legs?
do your father has complain of burning feet too?

Sir he has diagnosed diabetes almost 3 years ago and i didn't see high more than 250mg/dl
That's why he is using only 250 mg of Gulcophage once daily,
He didn't complaint any burn feet,
2nd he didn't complaint any burning in feet, always feel cold

Thank you for giving more useful information. This doesn't look like Diabetic neuropathy. you should have Doppler Ultrasound, if study is normal B12 deficiency is most suggestive.
