Talk to General Physician on DVT And Corona Vaccine

Asking For Wife, Female 36, Karachi

My wife on anticoagulant (earlier on warfin and now xcept 20mg) since 2015 when she got post partum DVT, USG says clots are partially resolved and Vascular Surgeon recommends to continue with tablet. I want to ask whether its safe to have corona vaccine or not ? Medical staff asks recommendation from Concerned Dr but I can't visit in near future. Anyone can guide please ?

can get vaccination. post injection at injection site hematoma may form which will resolve. apply pressure on site after injection

covid vaccine is safe with xcept. perhaps if you were on warfarin there was a chance of hematoma formation at local site but that was also resolvable by applying firm pressure on site.
