Ear Fluid, Itching, Blockage And Pain

Question

Salam, I experienced extreme dry itchiness in my right ear and used cotton bud to clean it. My ear insides feel scratched and there is fluid buildup inside (clear, slightly yellowish) and it is painful too. There is less amount of fluid so it isn\'t flowing outside but it is causing blockage and feeling of heaviness.
I can not visit ENT as I have an infected family member at home. If possible please prescribe drops or oral medicine.

hi
your history is very suggestive of otitis name suggest its outer ear canal infection .no fiddling with ear no cotton buds .if there is swelling around ear then you need oral antibiotics otherwise simple topical ear drops can sort out the be patient it takes a wk or so to get ibuprofen for pain relief
Gentisone HC topical drops 2 drops x 4 times/day and if you do need oral antibiotics augmenting 625mg x 3 times/day.i don't think for simple otitis external you need to see ENT unless its is resistant and fail to improve
