ecg looks apparently fine but a good technique is to always compare it with the baseline or old ECG just to rule out any subtle changes. kindly share any old ECG. Why the ECG was done ?does patient has any symptoms??

There are no symptoms, just routine test was done, as last ecg was done 6/7 years ago.

I'm taking nebivolol 2.5mg od for high heart rate.

Is my heart rate too slow?

Should I reduce the dose?

Thanks.

Thanks. I'm doing good, never felt physically better in ages. Blood pressure is 100-110/60-70. Heart rate is usually 60-70, sometimes 56 but not less. No dizziness or whatsoever.

I'm going to reduce dose to 1.25mg od after eid Insha Allah.

Well the ecg is fine. Heart rate is okay considering you have been using beta blockers. And remember if you are doing fine with beta blockers, you need not immediately change the dosage or frequency.

What is the exact thing bothering you at the moment?

Thanks for detailed reply.

Nothing is bothering particularly, just wanted to see if intermittent fasting has done any changes in ecg as last ecg was done 6/7 years ago which was fine.

For 15 years I've taken 3 drugs daily.

Lisinopril 20mg od, Amlodipine 5/10mg (10mg in winter otherwise 5mg), Propranolol 20mg bd OR metoprolol 25mg bd.

Since 2023 I've used 16:8 routine of fasting i.e two meals in 8 hours window and water only fast for 16 hours. I've eaten Low carb foods in two meals. 1 roti with each meal or half plate rice.
My weight was never under 90, touched 100 at one point now its 75kg. I do eat now two meals a day with 12 hours gap.

I used to have fatty liver, looking forward to get ultrasound done to see if fat on liver is gone or not.

Okay. Thank you for elaborating the situation. You can have an ultrasound as well as serum lipid profile, Hba1c, serum electrolytes (sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphate levels). If you are concerned if the body has been doing well with that intermittent fasting routine, we need to have a look at these. Provides a valuable insight on the situation. Thank you
