Asking For Father, Male 63, Sukkur
My father woke up this morning and everyone felt a change in his face. Consulted local doctor he said, its facial palsy. My father is a heart patient. Its been years of his arterial open heart surgery, he is on warfrain. Please suggest something immediately, and is it worriable or not?please am very much worried.

yes Dr. we consulted a local physician and a cardiologist, as per their suggestion, have started cortisol, also consulted a physiotherapist here at Marham,who told some facial exercises and heat padding for swallowing part.what further do you suggest

You can add vitamin B12 1000mcg, and Folic acid 5 mg once daily . He would be fine soon . Wait for 2 weeks . Steroids should be gradually tapered( by gradual reduction of doses )once the doctor decide to stop the steroid treatment which is most important . Better consult him every 2 weeks. Thanks
