Talk to General Physician on Feet 4th Finger Injury

Hit my fourth feet finger by deep freezer corner. Since I was in rush I got it hit badly. It got crooked and swelled bit bruised as well. I did icing and elevated. In evening at home family member have done bandage with stick and according to him it's straight bandage was suggested by someone. But it still pains, should I go for x-ray?. I have been locked at home since good 2 months so i think I shouldn't go out. Picture attached.
