Hi I traveled from Pakistan to Germany on Sunday and have a severe fever since Wednesday I feel very cold and when I cough I have pain in my head if I hold my head tightly during coughing it doesn't hurt. M taking augmentin and panadol please suggest what it could be as I can't go to a doctor here immediately I will be extremely thankful
Hi. Hope you feel better soon. have you managed to record the temperature. please do if not yet. Seems like an Upper respiratory tract infection, developing sinusitis. I would have recommnedd other medications but I doubt you will be able to get over the counter.wothout prescription from a doctor there. You have already started an antibiotic course so this shall help although there is always a better choice of antibiotics for URTI. Take steam with normal saline which should not be a problem to purchase over the counter I guess it else juatvtake steam with vicks at night. Have hot drinks. Chicken broth would help recuperate better and soon.

u have already started antibiotic continue for 5 or 7 days 635mg thrice a day take Panadol 2 when u have fever n record ur temperature.nebulize twice a day with normal saline.

Many things have already explained to you. I would suggest that you might need to take anti histamine and a cough syrup as well. have a good bed rest for couple of days would also help. if the conditions doesn't get improve in next couple of days then consulting a near by physician would be the right thing as you might need to go for some blood tests. cont temperature charting.. best wishes
