Asking for Mother, Female, 50 years old, lahore
Aoa, doc my mother age is 50 years her fresh cbc shows 15% eosionphils she had covid a month ago had body aches, fatigue ,99 fever ,conjuctivitis, change in taste but now fully recovered having no symptom but for the last 4 days she had left knee pain which she had last year also but settled down after physiotherapy. She is non- diabetic and slight rise in b.p around 140/90 occasionally. Taking no medication. Yesterday she had taken indrop d(vitamin d) orally. Kindly guide me about treatment and cause of eosinophilia ,does the eosinophills are severly raised?

Hello, how are you? Please know even after COVID your body requires a cycle of 4 - 6 weeks in light of the developing immune response (IgG antibodies). I suggest not seeking any treatment for eosinophil at this point. Not other indication whatsoever. Only repeat the CBC in the next 6 weeks. Secondly given her age BP is okay as well and isn't too high (especially if she has no symptoms at this reading).
