Talk to General Physician on High Blood Pressure Even Using Tenormin 50mg
Asking For Mother, Female 60, Gujrat
Assalam o Alaikum! My mother is using Tenormin 50mg tablet from last 6 7 years for high blood pressure but from last few months she is having blood pressure 150/80 on average with heartbeat between 60-70. she is also using medicines comfort-d, mecogen sl and in-drop injection. Also her RFT,blood sugar oky but some high value in LFT. kindly recommend how to treat high blood pressure.

She needs to have work up done for impaired liver function and also for hypertension. Tenormin is not a good choice for hypertension, unless she has cardiac issues. you need to see a cardiologist.

Wslam. She needs a consultation for proper work up and treatment. Tenormin will need to be changed specially if her liver functions are disturbed.
use tab Extor 5 / 80 mg OD and low salt intake ,use plenty of water especially in this age group
