Asking For Mother, Female 53, karachi
My mother is having high bp like 140/90 and pulse rate in 60s and sometimes below 60s. Please recommend a good doctor and give suggestions about this issue to overcome it

No medical history but before ramzan she's having high bp consulted to a cardiologist he prescribed some bp tablets and told to do holter monitor ecg but she got normal haven't done this test but now she's again having high bp and pulse around 60-65 and my maternal relations has cardiac history.

Go for an ECG. For now strict salt restriction and walk

She's having high bp since few months not taking any bp tablets regularly.

Start tab amlodipine 10 mg once a day. Also salt restriction. And 15 minutes of walk or exercise twice a week
she may be taking beta blockers for high bp thats y pulse is below 60
there is nothing wrong ,blood pressure is border line. moniter B.P thrice daily and consult me. pulse is ok don't worry about it. consult me for proper control of B.P if needed.

Get bp charting done twice a day for at least 3days and then get consultation
Maintain bp chart for a week with twice daily readings. Then consult with doctor. Medicine will be prescribed afterwards
Meanwile go for tfts. BP is on borderline nothing much to worry about. Diabetic?
