Talk to General Physician on High BP And Cholesterol

my brother in law is a heart patient from Jan 2020. he had major attack and gone through angiography and angioplasty once . now he is continuously having high BP. he took lipid profile test yesterday but didn't do proper fasting. he ate after 2 and smoke a cigarette afterwards and gone for rest before 9 . his cholesterol level came out to be 600 . is it due to improper fasting?? what he should do should he repeat the test or can visit the cardiologist with this report. P.S. he is a smoker from a long time
