Hello Dr, My mother's LDL cholesterol level is 163 and our local doctor prescribed rovista 10 for this. Is it okay for her or should I go for other medication. She is also a diabetic patient

Diabetes is life style disease and it's not just sugars. It's control & prevention of its complications require Proper Diet, Physical Activity & Medications (Not only for diabetes but for Cholestrol & Blood pressure as well).
This medication is appropriate for her cholesterol and generally safe. Dylidemeia (High Cholestrol) is a life long problem as diabetes she may need to take medication for life long for this as for diabetes.
She would require monitoring Cholestrol levels periodically 6-12 wks initially later twice a year once in target range.
