Talk to General Physician on High RFT Values

person-avatar

Asking for Other, Male, 52 years old, Lahore

52 years old patient(male) has been diagnosed with severe aortic stenosis with LV dilation. Aortic valve replacement was planned. But before doing angiograpy doctors came to know that patients RFTs values are high(creatinine: 2.7 and Urea: 80). They refused to do angiograpy and AVR until the values return to normal or near normal. Echocardiogram and RFTs are attached below. Doctors here on this forum please advise me what to do next. Should we consult a nephrologist, if yes, then please refer me a nephrologist for this patient. Thanks

Sorry I couldn't understand. He has cardiac + plus renal problems. Cardiac surgery was planned but before that his creatinine level was high(2.8), so surgery was postponed till the values come to normal. I'm surprised to hear about multiple myelomas, is this possible in such case? If so then please guide me.
