Talk to General Physician on HSV Type 2
Asking for Self, Male, 34 years old, Karachi
I am HSV Positive and had some sore on my genitals. After the antiviral medication, my sores are gone and I am not having any outbreak. I understand that herpes remain in the body forever. My question is how can I plan to have baby with my partner without giving her herpes? As it has to be unprotected. Thanks alot

you should use preservatives (candom), determine subtype of HSV as some of subtypes are not worrisome and some of subtypes need prolong precautions and also you can get rid completely so visit an infectious disease specialist in Karachi or Lahore or Islamabad, which one that's near to your area

Thanks doctor. I had it on my genitals so pretty much it would be type 2. I want to plan a baby with my partner hence cant use condom for sure and dont want to transmit anything to my partner as well (my main concern). Thanks alot for help.

I know it's type 2. Determine the subtypes as some of subtypes are God forbidden associated with genitalia cancer in future and some of them not. so determine the subtypes as some of them require prolonged follow up

don't be panic as sometimes HSV type 2 can be associated with cancer in middle age just counsel with an senior infectious disease specialist
