Asking for Sister, Female, 39 years old, Lahore
The patient’s CBC from 2023 to 2025 has shown a slight increase in eosinophils (from 10.3 to 10.7), which was previously deemed non-concerning by both a general physician and a rheumatologist. However, the patient is now experiencing worsening symptoms, including intermittent episodes of difficulty breathing' unexplained bruising on face and erythema with pinpoint, hive-like bumps (mostly on upper shoulders & upper chest). These symptoms are becoming more frequent and severe. Given the progression of symptoms, should the elevated eosinophils be reconsidered, and which specialist (e.g., allergist, pulmonologist, dermatologist) should be consulted for further evaluation? Your guidance is highly appreciated.
