Asking for Father, Male, 54 years old, Karachi
My father has diabetes and was using mixtard insulin daily but he noticed that his sugar was not getting in control even after insulin so he stopped the insulin and instead switched back to his medicine diabold 3mg and now his sugar levels are under control since a week now. So is it something to worry about?
Also a point to note that he also got his urine tested and it was found that sugar was being passed in the urine aswell so after that he switched to his old medicine as mentioned above.

Dr. Muhammad Haris
make sugar chart with monitoring of
fasting sugar level and after two hours of breakfast and after two hours of lunch..
secondly get his RFTs and HBA1C report...
and it's not good sign that sugar is coming in urine...
contact me after labs and monitoring
when body has excess sugar some of it is released via urine so its just an indicator of uncontrolled diabetes.
kindly get his RFT's and thyroid profile done and then get an appointment for treatment modification
switch insulin separate long and short acting
U have to do sugar monitoring and consult a diabetologist to adjust dosage..
strict monitoring of sugar
make sugar chart and take reading thrice a day

Switch back to previous medicine
