Talk to General Physician on Late Diagnosed Diabetes

My husband using insulin " Since june 2021

Humalog 25 mg " Day 20 unit Night 10 unit Oral tablet Xanglu met XR : 1 tablet in lunch

June 2021 his sugar level was 558 in random when Dr started Insulin while his HBA1C was 13.46%.

Now he is following Diet according to chart given by walk insulin

But often blood glucose level drops till 68. Or 70... We have made two visit to Dr. But Doctor says keep ur insulin units according to his advance..

While often sugar drops , while now he is taking only 3 or 4 unit.. But sugar level drops 93

What you will you advice ? Get some other blood test ? Or what ? He reduced unit
