I want to do the lipid profile test. I will be traveling in the whole night in fasting and in the morning I will go to laboratory for sample? Is that way ok or must be sleeping for fasting?
Yes in simple language you shouldn’t eat after 8pm and then go to lab in the morning for tests

No need of sleeping. Only Six hour fasting may be good for such tests.
