You should start taking Vit. D supplements.
First, share your reports so it would be easy to suggest you the right dose.
Low platelets can be due to many reasons. Most commonly, recent viral infections, Vit. b12 deficiency etc.
How much is your Vit.D? Kindly share its report. For platelets, you need to improve your diet :
Iron-rich foods: red meat, liver, spinach, beans, lentils → helps if low MCH/iron deficiency is present.
Vitamin B12 & folate: eggs, dairy, fish, green leafy vegetables, citrus fruits → essential for healthy blood cell production.
Vitamin C: oranges, guava, kiwi, tomatoes → improves iron absorption.
Vitamin D & K: help in overall blood and bone marrow function.
Papaya leaf extract / juice: some studies show it may raise platelets.
