Low Sodium

Question

my mother is 85 and recently her serum electrolytes show the low levels of sodium which us 123 .Doctor has given soda mint tabs .twice a day .iits been 2 days now but no sign of improvement .she wakes up the whole night and sleeps the whole day .she is over fatigued and drowsy .Can any one tell how much time it takes to increase the level of sodium in blood .
