Dear, yes malaria can attack brain if left untreated. Please get tested from good lab like shaukat khanum, agha khan, chugtai, idc etc. CBC, MP slide, LFTs. if history of fever is less than 5 days get Dengue NS1antigen for dengue if more than 5 days than Dengue IgM, IgG along with tests i recommended.
