I have been diagnosed with Malaria PVax virus and treated with Gen -M. Now Dr. advixe me to take tablet of Primaquine 15mg. My G6PD level is 5.51. My question is. I this tablet safe with this G6PD Level.

your doctor is wrong, perimaquine needed if you was treated by chloroquine not GEB-M. No need to perimaquine after GEN-M. Did you get the point?

Thank u Dr. for quick repsonse. I got the point. I was treated with Gen-M not by Chlorquine. that is why I was recommended with Primaquine.
I was a bit confused about use of Primaquine with this G6PD level...

forget perimaquine as perimaquine is for those who treated with chloroquine. You were treated with GEN-M so no need to 8 weeks perimaquine
