Before prescribing medication, its better to check Hb and ferritin level to see if can control on diet alone or not. Second, need to know about ur menstrual history, if periods are heavy, this could also be reason of paleness , can be considered alternative to decrease menstrual flow/blood loss. So, gynaecological history is also important. Hope im clear.
