There is disc protrusion at L5 S1 level compressing S1 nerve and abutting against LV5.
Her treatment will chiefly be medical but if the pain is unbearable,if symptoms are causing her a lot of functional impairement and disability regarding weakness, foot drop or bladder dysfunction ,then surgery should be considered.
