Sometimes it takes bit longer but normally no more than 15-20days. Give him excessive fluids to keep him hydrated. Augmentin should be given for atleast 5 days without gap so complete the course and yes brufen and panadol both can be given simultaneously. Make sure to check his eyes and chest for any complication if there is any inform here or your nearest doctor
