Asking for Sister, Female, 14 years old, Quetta/Pakistan
Sakina is 14 year, at age 8 she showed swelling of body. In 2016 according to biopsy report she were diagnosed as nephrotic syndrome patient. Now her creatinine is 11. 5 Urea 145 . While breathing at sleep all her upper body has no appetite She don't shows other symptoms.
My questions are that : 1) Should we start her dialysis? 2) is it right time for her transplant? Because a nephrologist suggestion were for delayed transplant due to raised protein urea.

Yes , dialysis is indicated.
Kidney transplant services are available at SIUT , Karachi and DUHS, Ojha campus, will need to visit the hospital and get registered
you should visit SIUt for further queries. don't delay her dialysis already she is having tertiary hyper parathyroidism. she might end up with cardiac arrest or any other serious outcome. please start her dialysis as soon as possible. further delay will increase the mortality. I don't know what's her potassium levels? but if she is having hyperkalemia she would endup with cardiac arrest Allah na karay. so hurry up.
