Asking for Self, Male, 17 years old, Islamabad
Hi I am 17 years old male. I have been suffering from severe headache fro 7 to 8 months. At first stage its duration was less but now it remains for hours on right side of the head back of the ear. Along with that I have some memory problems. I don't remember major part of my past. I even don't remember what happened yesterday When I wake up at morning my head aches. Please tell me which disorder has these symptoms?
could be migraine.Please visit.
these are chronic headaches
a bit more detail history is needed it's important to assure no serious symptoms are associated like, double vision lack of coordination vomiting on a persistent basis, any weakness, in any part of body any seizure etc
if no more likely it is chronic tension-type headache or migraines .migrain usually associated with some alarm /warning shyness to light and vomiting during a headache is associated.
you can have a trial of sumatriptan 50mg as headache start max 2 tablets /day
if no response may be worth having ct head to rule out any secondary cause
thanks

Yes Doctor sometimes I feel weakness through out the body but no double vision. The headache is concentrated on one point above the right ear. Headache is not triggered with light.
