I suffer from PCOD and have made lifestyle changes but with little to no improvement in my weight (although I have gained some muscles via gym). I’ve been advised to take ozempic but I’m worried about the side effects. Is this a viable route to take?

You can take it alongwith lifestyle modification. But this is a costly option. If your BMI is more than 30 you can opt for weight reduction surgery as well.
Ozempic isn't approved for weight loss and a costly option aswell. Even if you have diabetes with PCOS, glucophage is the first line option with lifestyle factors. I understand that it's hard to follow lifestyle changes with slow response but it's the best and safest approach. Please book an appointment for further and detailed guidance.
