Patient is diagnosed with Non-Cirrhotic Portal Hypertension since June 2021. Since then he is constantly complaining about vomiting, nausea, heartburn and sense of fulfillment after having very smaller meals. Patient is also avoiding dairy products and junk food since then. Around 8 kg Weight loss has been observed. Current medicine regime is also attached herewith. We went to PKLI and consulted with Liver Transplant Surgeons but they advised us to avoid shunt surgery for portal vein thrombosis for the time being, observe the symptoms and carry on the same regime of medicine.

When there is increased pressure in portal vein,the blood vessels around the intestinal walls get congested.For this reason the function of intestine gets disturbed causing nausea,fullness,early satiety,heart burns and even vomiting.
You need to try
Motilium tablet one tab TDS before meals
Cap Esomega 40 mg empty stomach half hour morning before breakfast
Zopent tab 40 mg at night
Avoid fatty meals,cold(effervescent )drinks junk food ,spicy and fried stuff..
Take small amounts of food though take it more frequently
Remain mobile.Do not lie down soon after a meal.Use 2 or 3 pillows to keep head high while sleeping if it helps.
Consult a good gastroenterologist at PKLI for followup and medical management.
A Liver tansplant surgeon is good for surgeries but not for medical management.

actually this doctor is completely right online advice is completely wrong this application is for our patients that are already diagnosed and everything is clear for us and we know each and everything about our patient just for follow up instead coming to our clinic we follow up him or her online but we don't know anything about new patients and whatever patient says may be wrong technically ... so should come to us and after taking history and doing physical examination and some tests then everything will be cleared and after that we start treatment and for follow up patient instead of coming to our clinic can ask questions or doing follow up online.
