Dear sir rice is mainly carbohydrates, eating too much carbohydrates is not good for overall health. One should eat balanced diet, it mean carbohydrates (Rice, wheat, corn etc) in moderation but also proteins (meat, fish, chicken etc) and healthy fats(olive oil, coconut oil, butter,ghee) etc. Rice is not known to be associated with kidney stones, however drinking less water in hot summer days and taking less vitamin A is known to cause kidney stones.
