Talk to General Physician on Rifaximin For 3 Months

person-avatar

Dr has prescribed me rifazin 550mg for 3 months before that I had h pylori for which i took 14 days of amoxil, klaricid and rifazin. The dr said to continue rifazin for 3 months and repeat the endoscopy after 3 months because i have intestinal metaplasia also and after h pylori treatment I have symptoms of early satiety and feeling full everytime. Should I take rifazin for 3 months as the dr has prescribed me?

something strange, metronidazole, Amoxil, and Klacuf are far better and studied antibiotics against H Pylori, Rifazin still needs to be studied for H Pylori. What about PPI? did you complete the course? did you do endoscopy or colonoscopy?

regards to intestinal Metaplasia is something that you need to be worried about and do complete investigation and follow up.
Rifazin is given to eradicat H Pylori, though still in the evaluation stage, but has good results, though.
