Asking for Self, Male, 23 years old, ?????
I frequently feel saliva pooling in my mouth, especially while speaking, and sometimes need to stop speaking to clear it. My mother also notices saliva around the corners of my mouth. I sometimes have a wet/gurgly voice and frequently clear my throat. While eating, I notice a specific unusual sound from my mouth/throat, and my voice can also become wet/gurgly. I would like to determine whether this is excessive saliva production (hypersalivation) or a problem with swallowing/clearing normal saliva, and whether I need tests such as salivary flow measurement, FEES, or VFSS.
You seem to have done your research. But before getting into aetiology of a disease we as a doctor have to ascertain if the condition is pathologic or not. There is a possibility that your condition is just a physiologic variance. So please don't get into trouble of getting these tests without physically visiting a seasoned clinician

To start, you can see a general physician for a physical exam. If needed , they might refer you for speech and swallow evaluation.
