Talk to General Physician on Seizure With Back Spasm

Aoa, I have encountered a recent attack of 'Seizure' few days back after a prolonged break of 20 years. Got conducted my EEG within time and found the result OK with no abnormal brain waves. but still on medication normally prescribed for epileptic patients. I have been using Alprozolam medicine for more than 5 years before sleep also. Though Abrupt seizure attack cannot allow me to quit Alprozolam in a flash. Along with that, I have been a patient of Back Muscle Spasm for more than 25 years,after the seizure attack the back pain had aggravated adversely at swift pace. My concern is, is it safe to take Epileptic medication with Alprozolam or there could be some other medication or treatment which could serve the purpose?
